Lesson Post - 10-13th May

I was away on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and hence did not get any work done; only about 10 minutes of research to no avail. I was told over these 3 days that I was sick that Nic and Christian created the forms in the correct layout and had the buttons to navigate throughout.

For the friday lesson, I was further doing research on the group task. The individual work required to complete for this week did not have to be completed because it was too difficult. I spent more time looking at existing code made by people who had similar situations. It didn't help us to come to any conclusions but I am starting to have a greater understanding of how others have dealt with a similar situation.

Lesson Post - May 9th

Most of this lesson was used to continue researching on ways we could take Nic’s fully working numbers document and somehow have a similar or same working software for our project. I found a couple of websites that show possible solutions. One way could be to reproduce the whole numbers document into excel and then possibly create algorithms in visual basic that allow us to run and take user input numbers to then generate outputs through the excel file. This would be much more complicated but could save us some time if we work out how to do it. The other way could be to recreate the whole numbers file in visual basic, this would be more straight forward however it would take much more time.

Lesson Post - April 29th

This lesson we furthered our ideas of how we would convert Nic's idea to Visual Basic. We all created blogs and worked out a plan of how we each post at different points on the group blog. I spent about 30 minutes on Visual Basic to re-jog my memory of how to use this program - it had been a while since I last used it.

Lesson Post - April 27th

I spent the beginning of this lesson retrieving parts of Part A to refresh my memory on the assignment and the proposed program.
None of us had completed Section 3 Part 1 so we began working on that, I had to do the summary on Flags.
We then rediscussed the ideas we had for Part A and Nic showed us the system he currently had working on Numbers. Our aim was to convert much of this system into Visual Basic Form.
